He has co-written the Family Law Textbook which students rely on and his links with the university mean that we often have students from all over the world undertaking work experience.

Patrick found gardening particularly helpful during lockdown and has started our own Nicholls gardening club sharing plants, advice- recognising the mental health benefits to colleagues.

Sarah has extensive experience in all areas of family law including divorce, financial relief and children matters. Her cases on financial relief often involve complex business and foreign assets. Sarah has good working relationships with specialist barristers, financial advisors and other experts to call upon their expertise where required.
Sarah is also regularly instructed in respect of pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Client’s and colleagues recognise Sarah’s personal, down to earth and sensitive approach but she is someone who is not afraid to fight for clients’ to ensure a fair outcome. Sarah is regularly recommended and has built up strong reputation in the family law field.

Sarah was also president of Trafford Law Society for 4 years during which time she was able to use this role to raise vital funds and awareness of local charities. She joined Nicholls Solicitors in 2016 part time and following a relocation to London Beth re-joined in 2020 working remotely.
Beth is an associate member of CILEx and specialises in domestic conveyancing with extensive experience. Client’s are continually impressed by Beth’s efficiency, thoroughness and down to earth nature.
In her spare-time Beth enjoys running, cooking, and gardening. When she gets the chance, she likes to spend time in Turkey either in the sun or on the ski slopes.

Kirsty undertook her training contract with the firm throughout 2006-2008 and later spent several years practicing as a qualified advocate in the Isle of Man, giving her this very specialist knowledge of cross border jurisdictions.
Kirsty deals predominantly with family law but also has extensive experience of civil litigation (including contentious probate, lands tribunal disputes and contract claims). In family law Kirsty has represented many clients in relation to divorce, financial relief and complex children’s applications. Kirsty is often recognised for her tenacious, no nonsense approach and her efficient manner.

Emily joined Nicholls Solicitors in 2018 as our legal secretary and administrative assistant. She assists and supports all fee earners in their roles and with a diploma in Creative Media, she supports the firm with it's social media marketing.
Suzie lives in Wilmslow and enjoys attending Old Trafford to watch Manchester United and driving her Aston Martin!
Angela is know for her attention to detail and accuracy and has a wealth of experience to assist our fee earners and staff. Angela also works part time at another firm as Senior Accountant.
Outside of work Angela is involved with doing accounts and bookkeeping for Curzon Ashton Football Club and enjoys swimming, Zumba, travel and socialising.
